Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 10/07/2026
I want everyone who visits laurarobinsonwrites.com to feel welcome and to be able to access the information they need. This accessibility statement explains what I am doing to make my website as inclusive as possible.
My Commitment
I am committed to making my website accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology. I strive to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level where reasonably possible.
What I Have Done So Far
- Used clear, plain English throughout the site so content is easy to read and understand.
- Added descriptive alt text to all images so screen readers can describe them to visually impaired users.
- Designed a responsive layout that works on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
- Chosen colour combinations with sufficient contrast to ensure text is readable.
- Structured pages with proper headings so they can be navigated using a keyboard or assistive technology.
- Made sure all forms and buttons are labelled clearly and can be used without a mouse.
Known Limitations
Some third-party content, such as embedded forms, booking widgets, and review feeds, is provided by external platforms. While I choose providers who share my commitment to accessibility, I do not have full control over how these third-party elements are displayed. If you experience any difficulty with an embedded element, please let me know and I will help you directly.
Get in Touch

I will do my best to respond to your request promptly and to make any reasonable adjustments needed.
Changes to This Statement
I may update this accessibility statement from time to time as I continue to improve the website. The most current version will always be available on this page.
