Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Services:

  • Laura Robinson Writes ("Service Provider") agrees to provide content creation and/or editing services as outlined in the agreed-upon proposal or project scope.

  • The Client agrees to provide all necessary information, materials, and access required for the completion of the project.

2. Payment Terms:

  • For editing jobs, the Client shall provide a 50% deposit of the total project fee before the commencement of work. The remaining 50% shall be paid before the agreed-upon deadline to receive the completed project.

  • For content creation jobs, the Client shall make full payment in advance to initiate the project.

  • Payments shall be made via the agreed-upon payment method specified in the invoice.

3. Project Delivery:

  • The Service Provider will provide the Client with the completed work within the agreed-upon timeframe.

  • Editing work will be delivered in two parts: the first half after receiving the 50% deposit and the second half upon receiving the remaining payment before the deadline.

  • Content creation jobs require full payment in advance in order to book the service and initiate the project.

  • Payments shall be made via the agreed-upon payment method specified in the invoice.

4. Client Revisions:

  • The Client may request revisions within a specified revision period (as indicated in the proposal) after receiving the completed work.

  • Additional revisions beyond the specified limit may be subject to additional charges.

5. Project Cancellation:

  • In the event of project cancellation by the Client after work has commenced, the Client will be responsible for payment for work completed up to the cancellation date.

6. Confidentiality:

  • Both parties agree to treat all project-related information, content, and communication as confidential unless otherwise agreed.

7. Copyright and Ownership:

  • Upon receipt of full payment, the Client will retain full ownership and copyright of the final content.

  • The Service Provider retains the right to showcase the completed work in their portfolio and marketing materials.

8. Liability:

  • The Service Provider shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions in the final content that arise from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client.

  • The Client shall indemnify and hold the Service Provider harmless against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the use of the content.

9. Dispute Resolution:

  • In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to engage in good faith negotiations to resolve the matter amicably.

10. Governing Law:

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

 

By proceeding with the project, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined above. These terms and conditions may be updated or amended by mutual agreement in writing.
